An ever growing part of our sales takes place in the food and pharmaceutical industries. In this sector, the BRCGS Packaging Materials for Food Safety quality system is used. Stempher produces and delivers according to a high-grade quality system. Consequently, we are BRCGS Packaging Materials certified since 2004. This quality system comprises procedures, working methods and hygiene regulations, in order to enable us to produce and supply our customers in compliance with quality and hygiene standards. Traceability is also guaranteed in excellent manner.
Every year, our BRCGS Packaging Materials quality system is assessed by an external agency. The obtained certificate guarantees our buyers that we produce according to the established standards. Manufacturing products according to the highest quality standards is the highest priority within our company. This means there is a lot of testing and checking going on.
Besides, Stempher is ISO 9001 certified. This standard entails that the organisation is aware of what the customers expect, that the organisation is capable of meeting these expectations due to its means, and that they deliver everything in the manner agreed upon. During this process, it will be checked whether the requirements are actually met, and improvements will be implemented, if necessary. The management needs to demonstrate that they are actively involved in the quality management system.
Stempher owns a Blauer Engel certificate. Blauer Engel has been the environmental label of the German government for over 40 years and is the guiding principle for sustainable procurement. The label guarantees that the products and services it attaches to comply with the strict requirements on environment, health and performance. While assessing, the entire life cycle always needs to be taken into account. Criteria are developed for each product group, which the products and services with the Blauer Engel label must meet.
